Music
Singing praise to God is the obligation of every child of God. However, as a music minister you help the gathered assembly fulfill their obligation and also worship God in Spirit and truth. According to Saint Augustine, he (she) who sings well prays twice. In all scared liturgy, music is very important. "Music is not just something in the liturgy; it is of the liturgy... It expresses the thanksgiving we offer God, and it reveals the wondrous mystery of God in creative love'' (Jennifer Breedlove and Paul Turner, Guide for Music Ministers, p. 7).
